Stress Is The Silent Killer That Many Of Us Suffer From

Here is how to recognize it, and some ways to manage it

It’s not something new by any means, but stress seems to be at an all-time high here in the good ol’ U.S. of A.

I’m experiencing this first hand and it is affecting me in ways both physical and mental. I don’t claim stress to be solely my own. I see it affecting my co-workers, my adult children, and friends.

I’m certain, either you are suffering from the negative effects of stress, or at the least, you know someone who is.

What causes stress?

Some of the common causes of stress are:

Health

Whether it’s aging, illness, or the health of a loved one or friend, all of these can contribute to stress in one’s life.

Relationships

Disagreements with your partner, parent, or children can be stress triggers. When you live under the same roof, these stresses can be greatly amplified. Even arguments between other family members can cause you stress. Living in negative environments like this are poison to your system.

Arguements about personal issues, politics, or religion can make for stressful…
