Just When We Thought Things Were Looking Up, We Were Wrong
That’s when we decided it was time to fight back
Life has a funny way of keeping us on our toes.
When times are good we coast along thinking that it will always be this way, while deep down we know that’s impossible. What we do when things turn on us shows the rest of the world what we are made of. Hopefully we are made of sturdy resilient stock.
Events of the past several weeks have certainly tested my wife and I to my limits, but thankfully we’ve survived.
The hits keep coming
Four weeks ago the company I work for was bought out by a large Canadian firm.
While some of us have known about this for months, it wasn’t without its concerns. This new company was an unknown to us. The internet can only tell us so much, and who knew what was true and what was propaganda.
As things turned out much of the information out in the wild was true and not in a negative way.
What’s making the transition stressful, however, is that while we were told that nothing would change, at least right away, everything is changing.
