Google Chrome Is The Most Used Browser, But Is It The Best
Let’s take a look at Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox
Web browsers are interesting beasts in that they a very personal. Users love their browsers and in general, remain loyal to them for long periods of time.
There are a multitude of choices out there, but only four of them are widely used. These are the ones we will be focusing on based on the November 2021 market share results provided by statcounter.com.

The majority of browsers are based on the Chromium rendering engine. This means that the core component of these browsers are the same so they render web pages almost identically. It’s what is built on top of this engine that sets the browsers apart.
Two of the top four browsers are built on Chromium. The other two contenders are unique in that they are built on their own rendering engines. Though generally not problematic, there are times where they do not render web pages correctly. This doesn’t happen frequently, but it does happen.

Google Chrome
Chrome has held the top spot in the browser wars for a long time now. It has by far the largest market share at approximately 64 percent. No other browser even comes close to catching Chrome.

- Is available on Android, iOS, Windows, macOS, Linux
- Fast page rendering due to high system resource usage
